Japanese Language Teaching
We provide tailor made Japanese language courses, teaching corporate business language and cultural orientaion. Providing services to companies throughout the UK and Worldwide that are looking to expand into the Japanese market or build relationships with Japanese companies.
As well as private tuition, Angela has delivered Japanese language courses in the following institutions:

- John Moores University Liverpool (JMU) - Japanese at all levels
- The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) - Business Japanese
Corporate Business Language Teaching and Tailor Made Courses
1986-1987 Angela was asked to present a one-day seminar by Clwyd County Council with regard to the feasibility of teaching Japanese language at Secondary level. This was followed by Clwyd C.C. commissioning her to write a Japanese language course for their TVEI (Technical & Vocational Education Initiative) Scheme to be applied in High Schools in North Wales. She ran the pilot course alongside the Head of Languages at the first High School in Abergele. These courses were subsequently run in High Schools in Clwyd.
In February 1996 she organised the first of several intensive Japanese business language course at the University of Central Lancashire.
In April 1996 she was commissioned to write and teach a 20-week Japanese language course specifically for Mersey Guides at Liverpool University Language Export Centre. This was completed in November 1996 with an NVQ examination.
At the beginning of 1997 she organised and planned Japanese business language courses for Liverpool University Language Export Centre and for University College Chester, both requiring specific language and technical vocabulary.
In April and again in May 1997, Hoya Lens asked Angela to organise some Japanese language courses for their local staff going out to Japan. These were also devised for the specific requirements of the staff.
1997 to date, she has given tailored Japanese courses directly to the staff of a major Oil Company who were going to spend 2 - 3 years out in Japan. Some of these people came back to the UK and she continued to teach them to a point where they gained success in public examinations. She has also given business briefings and language courses for various Companies whose staff members were going out to visit Japan.
In 2000 she was commissioned by Rope Walks Liverpool to offer a 6 months business Japanese Language Course for the Director of a new company involved in tourism, which was completed successfully.
Between 2002-2007 Angela taught all levels of Japanese at John Moores University. She taught IB Japanese at Broadgreen International High School with almost all students gaining a 7 or 6.
2009 asked to present a specific course of Japanese and Culture to a small group of people from Rotary North Wales going out to Japan.
Angela has also given courses on Japanese language and culture and Interpreting at Deeside College. She has taught students from Liverpool College and St. Hilda’s School all of whom achieved success in GCSE and/or ‘A’ level Japanese
